About Danyel
Danyel Alana has a musical style that reflects her ethnic roots of growing up on the beaches of Los Angeles and Hawai’i. Weaving conscious lyrics with her soulful vocals she blends elements of funk, rock, blues, reggae, hip hop, R&B, soul, jazz, Hawaiian, pop, and country. Whether she’s solo on an acoustic or electric guitar her unbridled style and powerful vocals fuel the passion in her versatile, dynamic and high energy performances.
Danyel never ceases to deliver the conscious message of love, unity and introspection through her original and cover material.

Danyel’s Backstory
Danyel Alana’s music career has spanned over 3 decades. In 1992 she joined forces with Rob London forming the funk rock reggae band, Unshakable Race. Gaining a large regional following and acclaim in the Pacific North West and California, Unshakable Race opened for many major acts across the US and was voted “Northwest Best World Beat Band’ by The Northwest Music News. Unshakable Race released 3 CD’s Right On! Serial Survivors & Stop, Look & Listen and had songs that topped the Mp3 charts for that time.
Danyel has opened for, recorded, and performed with many notable artists across Hawaii, mainland US, Canada, and Japan.
